Shes Back.............

Well.....picked up the Unimog yesterday and she runs like a dream. The injector pump was the culprit. It's never run so good. It purrs at about 700 rpms something I could never do before. If it wasn't at 1200 rpms it wasn't running. The other noticeable change is when you start it, it doesn't lope it fires right up. I had the guy turn the injector pump up just a tad to get a little more power from it. I've got to order a VDO pyrometer to monitor the exhaust temps as a precaution. He didn't turn it up enough to worry too much about it but better safe than sorry.
